kaala mrtyu bhaya haram
sarva sankata naashanam
yaksha raakshasa bhutaanaam
chora vyaaghra bhay aapaham

It delivers one from the fear of time and death.
It puts an end to all misfortunes. It removes the
fear of spirits, demons, ghosts, theives, and tigers.

mahaa vyaadhi haram sarvam
vibhuti siddhi dam bhavet
athavaa mohanam vashyam
svayam eva japet sadaa

It eradicates all major diseases. It confers prosperity
and superhuman powers or the ability to captivate and
control others. One should always repeat it to oneself.

vastraa sane cha daaridryam
paashaane roga sambhavaha
medinyaam duhkham aapnoti
kaashthe bhavati nishphalam

(Repeating the Guru Gita) on a seat of cloth brings
poverty, on stone it brings disease, on the earth it
brings unhappiness, and on wood it becomes fruitless.
