Verse 141 = x
uttare shaanti kaamas tu
vashye purva mukho japet
dakshine maaranam proktam
pashcime cha dhanaa gamaha

Interpretation
One should repeat (the Guru Gita) facing north if one
desires peace, facing east for the power to control
(others); it is said that one should face south to
destroy (evil spirits) and face west to acquire wealth.

mohanam sarva bhutaanaam
bandha moksha karam bhavet
deva raaja priya karam
sarva loka vasham bhavet

Interpretation
It (the repition of the Guru Gita) attracts all beings
and brings release from bondage. It gains the
affection of Indra (the lord of the heaven).

Verse 143 = 96
sarveshaam stambhana karam
gunaanaam cha vivardhanam
dushkarma naashanam cha iva
sukarma siddhi dam bhavet

Interpretation
It grants the power to paralyze all (hostile creatures),
it stops (the fruition of) bad actions, and it also brings
about the fruition of good deeds.
