Bridge
I play bridge: it is good for the brain, and one might learn to deal
with emotions...
In 2013 I had won a bridge tournament with my husband, Cees: the
challenge cup was a soapstone owl. The owl is a western symbol for
wisdom, and straight away I associated
him with
Sarasvati.
For I had already a
Durga
and a
Lakshmi
murti. Now the universe gave me the acquintance with
Sarasvati.
She is the goddess of wisdom and music and together they are the three
most important goddesses, mirroring
Brahma,
Vishnu
and
Shiva.
In 2014 we won the tournament again, The owl apparently
did not yet want to leave us; what to do when Sarasvati,
Lakshmi,
and also Ganesha
conspire. This picture was taken the second time I received the
owl; I was so happy to have him back.
Sarasvati.
Ik had namelijk al een
Durga en een
Lakshmi beeld.
Nu hintte het universum me naar
Sarasvati.
