गुरुर्बुद्ध्यात्मनो नान्यत्
सत्यं सत्यं न संशयः।
तल्लाभार्थं प्रयत्नस्तु
कर्तव्यो हि मनीषिभिः॥९॥

guru buddhy_aatmano na_anyat
satyam satyam na samshaya:
tal laabha_artham prayatnas tu
kartavyo hi manishibhi:

The Guru is not different from the conscious Self.
Without doubt this is the truth. This is the truth.
Therefore wise men should make
an effort to seek him.

De Guru is niet anders dan de bewuste geest,
zonder twijfel is dit waar, het is de waarheid.
Daarom is het voor wijze mensen inderdaad de
moeite waard om te pogen "Dat" te bereiken.
